In 2022, Koko announced a partnership with South Wind, a newly-refurbished motel in Columbus’ German Village with immaculate retro vibes and a commitment to sustainability! Together, we concepted a refill program as an alternative to single-use plastic mini toiletry bottles.
Since it’s opening, motel guests have been enjoying in-room toiletries provided by our Koko refilleries, including spa-quality hand soap, shampoo + body wash, and conditioner. After many, many requests, we began to carry the full South Wind line-up at our refilleries and now online too!
Pink Grapefruit Shampoo + Body Wash
Let us introduce you to…Pink Grapefruit Shampoo + Wash from Koko x South Wind Motel! This nutrient-dense shampoo & body wash is carefully formulated to cleanse and hydrate the hair, skin, and scalp without drying. Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein + Provitamin B5 add an extra boost of moisture, volume, and shine, while grapefruit essential oils infuse the crisp, uplifting scent of sunshine-y citrus!

How to Use
As shampoo: First, wet hair completely + pour a dime to quarter-sized dollop of shampoo (depending on length of you hair) into your hand. Use your fingertips to gently massage it into the scalp, working through to the tips of your hair. Rinse thoroughly and repeat the wading process if necessary/desired. Follow up with the Mango + Banana Deep Conditioner for the full South Wind experience!
As body wash: Wet body and massage a small amount of gel onto into each area, working into a lather. Rinse well.
